Volt is immediately hiring multiple Turbine Engine Mechanics for immediate temp to hire employment in Kearny Mesa, CA.As a Turbine Engine Mechanic you will:

• Install and assembly of mechanical components on gas turbine engines
• Layout, fabricate and perform assembly of engines and motors
• Install hydraulic tubing
• Route cables and wires and perform electrical terminations
• Cable harnessing and wire harnessing
• Follow blueprints and drawings
• Utilize hand tools - specifically wrenchesWe are hiring for 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm - 11:30pm). Most openings being available on 2nd shift. LOTS of overtime available.   • Mechanical assembly experience - layout, install, wiring, of larger mechanical pieces - anyone who has worked with wrenches and hand tools
  • Experience working as a auto mechanic , diesel mechanic , aviation mechanic , engine mechanic , or HVAC is preferred but not required on engines
  • Shipyard or military experience ideal
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings
  • Experience using hand tools - wrenches
