Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sr Dental Claims Examiner who
utilizes clinical knowledge of dentistry to perform initial
screenings for dental claims.
Key Responsibilities
Perform initial screening for dental claims requiring utilization
review according to clinical criteria
Serve as liaison between customer service/claims department and
dental consultants for utilization review processes
Monitor dental provider patterns and ensure compliance with state
and federal regulations
Required Qualifications
Post-secondary training or two years clinical experience as a
Dental Assistant or Dental Hygienist required
Completion of Radiology Training is mandatory
1-3 years of Dental Assistant, Hygienist, or related clinical
experience required
Insurance industry experience preferred
